Love Sturridge but his right foot is stopping him being world class. Needs to work on that.

Hasn't stopped Andy Carroll.

Ha

Love how since Carroll got suspended west ham have won 4 in a row. Classic.

At least when we go there they will be safe.

Anyway Carroll has lost his worst transfer ever tag to fellani. Lucky him.

Needs to be photoshopped to read:

Daniel Sturridge

The Story of a Liverpool legend.

I don't agree. I can't remember any decent goals with right foot but I remember loads of misses

Hope he is working on it.

He finished off that lovely solo goal against Villa with his right foot.

@Aidan O' Neill is great at recalling goals? Can you recall Sturridge scoring with his right foot his season?

I remember last season he was fluffing quite a few headers, with that comical Newcastle goal that went in off his upper arm. The Swansea header was top notch though so it shows he has clearly worked on that bit of his game.

Also - I think his confidence on his right is at least building slightly. E.g. the early miss vs Arsenal in the 5-1 which he tried to chip around Sczeney. It definitely still needs work but we saw last night with RVP that a lot of "world class" strikers are predominantly one footed.

He's deffo much weaker on his right. But the fact is, he's fucking great even with a shite right foot. Let's not get greedy here.

Still no song for him ? What does the lad need to do to earn one ?
Sturridge, Sturridge will tear you apart again.
Sturridge, Sturridge will tear you apart again.
Sturridge, Sturridge will tear you apart again.

To the tune of Love will tear you apart.

Simple but very effective.

Sturridge is very decent on his weak foot, he's not a one footed player at all.

That sort of title goes more for players like Robben and Podolski.

Sturridge scored his first against Fulham last season with his right, was actually one of his best finishes for us.

That 'Love will tear us apart' effort doesn't scan, btw. Plus that's the Giggs song. Probably best suited to Man Utd-supporting Liverpool fans.

I suggest 'Studge just wants to score goals' to the tune of the Cyndi Lauper hit 'Girls just wanna have fun'.

This works better with Moyes instead of Sturridge. Sang to Man U

When routine bites hard,
And ambitions are low,
And resentment rides high,
But emotions won't grow,
And we're changing our ways,
Taking different roads.

Then Moyes, Moyes will tear you apart again...

Ah that's probably why I've never heard it song before so as I don't listen to chants outside of our own.

I only heard the Yaya/Kolo chant last weekend for the first time.

Low piledrivers and chipping the keeper,
Dropping off a little and bursting from deeper,
Nutmegging, toepegging, a hit so sweet that it pings,
These are just a few of Studge's favourite things.

Last line has too many syllables, but that's ace.
