See, I think lucas is good enough as m'vila wouldn't add that much more.
What we need is Gerrard out the team. He can't close down with any ferocity any more, his passing is wayward and his shooting ability has gone.
He is the biggest problem with our midfield I think

Bewildering. Gerrard, especially, should be orchestrating the pace, but instead he's surrendering possession with silly Beckham-like passes. Skrtel is a disgrace with his shirt tugging obsession, he's a liability. Christ knows what Cissokho thinks he's playing but I doubt he recognises what that round bouncy thing is that keeps being sent to him.
He's been doing it all season. We looked much more cohesive when it was lucas, allen, henderson.

why do managers fuck about so much ? why has rodgers suddenly decided this is the game to switch gerrard's and lucas's roles ?

Half time thoughts:
* Stoke have been the better team for most of this game.
* Glen Johnson is so fucking bad. I'd say put Sterling @ RB and let Ibe or Alberto or whoever play right wing. Forget 'creativity,' our most pressing issue is a RB. He is terrible.
* How bad has Cissohoko been? CHARLIE fucking ADAMS has skinned him a few times. I really really pray we don't sign this guy. He is a pathetic player.
* The 'Imagine how much better we'd be if Coutinho could score goals' bandwagon will continue to grow after this half. He really should have finihsed that chance created by Suarez.
* We were gifted two goals .... GIFTED ... and instead of going into half time with a lead, we've gone in at 2-2. We'll be lucky to get 3 points here, but if we truly have top 4 aspirations, we better get them. We cannot afford to come out of this game with 1 point, or worse, no points. Cannot happen.
