Step up, Kelleher!

Andre Onana went for 45 mill, Kepa for 70 mill
Doubt think stupid clubs with money like Utd or Chelsea will be coming in for him......

Do you see a club in the bottom half of the Prem spending 35-40m on him? Most their record signings aren't even that much.

When you put it like that. Makes sense. But he's worth more than £20 mill though.

If Taffarel leaves, Alisson leaves.
Why? I mean Taffarel is a fairly recent addition and if Ali leaves where does he go? To a club with as much potential? Wherever he goes it would mean a new manager and coaching staff. Like any other player on our books he has a settled life in the city with friends, a set up and players he knows and respects and will look at Xabi and think that his style suits him and he's clearly a top manager so why not give it a go? Especially since we are still winning trophies.

Liverpool goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel is returning to his role with the Brazil national team and will combine both jobs with club and country.

Taffarel joined Jurgen Klopp’s backroom staff in November 2021, initially combining his role at Liverpool with national team duties during the build up to the 2022 World Cup.

He left his position with Brazil after head coach Tite stepped down following his side’s quarter-final exit in Qatar.

The 57-year-old will rejoin the national team setup after being asked to return by recently appointed Brazil head coach Dorival Junior. He will join the backroom staff to aid preparations ahead of this summer’s Copa America.

Maybe a team with a few more Brazilians?

Does anyone else think Kelleher sometimes unnecessarily kicks long balls when options available to him to play short, like the one which led to Divock's chance in the Forest game. It may be also because of lack of trust in our midfield with injuries, I hope he doesnt have to do that against City.

I'd rather he get rid of it than try to overcomplicate it like Alisson

"His name is hard to say" ... so I'll proceed to completely fuck it up - Kweeween?? FFS

He's stepped up and is playing out of his skin.

I was very critical of him after his stint in December (mostly after watching him have a howler against Fulham). He has made numerous brilliant saves. I feel quite comfortable with him when he plays with this confidence.

100%. If you always pass it short the opposition know that they can overcommit to the press too, so let them know you are capable of going short and long.

I thought the v sound in Irish was bh?
Well I'm a Brit in Ireland, so not really qualified, but it does seem both mh and bh give a v sound (e.g. Meabh and Mhuire). There is probably a very subtle difference that my uneducated ears don't pick up.
