Jan transfers (all other clubs bar Liverpool)

Yeah, I know, but not done yet. And I have a feeling he might just be a decent player having a bit of a purple patch in a lesser league. I didn't want us to sign him for that reason, we already did that with Darwin.
Too expensive and I doubt that he's built for the Prem.

On the flipside, it might mean their cutting ties either either Fergusson or Pedro. Either would interest me.

Real Madrid have opened preliminary talks with Bayern Munich and Germany midfielder Joshua Kimmich, 29, over a summer move, when his contract expires. (Bild - subscription required)

Real can afford those mad wages.

Because they are stingy buggers who don't often end up nowdays paying a transfer fee, they get freebies from big clubs instead with signing on fees and then spend the rest on 20yr old Brazilliants.

Real Madrid open talks with someone that can play RB and isn’t called “Trent”????

What does it all mean??!!??!!??

they wanted £150m for this kid at one point (to ward off any bids). I thought he was over rated, the Shane Long of today

Republic of Ireland international striker Evan Ferguson, 20, is expected to leave Brighton on loan before the end of the transfer window. (Fabrizio Romano), external

Ferguson is the top target of former Seagulls boss Graham Potter, who wants to bring the striker to West Ham, but Everton, Bournemouth and Arsenal are also in the running. (Talksport)

Such were Ibe’s talents that Bournemouth paid £15 million for the youngster. He was just 20 years old at the time.

Eight-and-a-half years later, he has just signed for the Southern Premier Division South side, Hungerford, who play in the seventh tier of English football.

This lad's clearly gone through some hardship the last 10 years, but good to see he's stuck at it and tried to keep on going.

Off field/personal issues is every bit a career killer for young players as injuries. We're talking a guy who could've had a career like Harry Wilson has gone on to have.....young players need more support to stay motivated when they're released or moved on.

I'm surprised that no one has attempted a clever pun yet
I got a coach from Liverpool to visit my parents in Berkshire on the day of the shooting. My old man was meeting me off the bus & we were to go for lunch in a country pub. His idea had been to go to Hungerford, but my bus was late so we went somewhere more local. If we had stuck to his original plan we would have arrived into Hungerford high street, just as the lead started flying.

There, but for the grace of Robbie ...

Same thing in Phuket. Tsunami was on my birthday and we'd slept in after diving Phi Phi island all day (wife, daughter and I) the day before and then drinks in the evening! We had planned a late breakfast at a restaurant on the beach... by the time we got there it didn't exist any more.

A lot to be said for sleeping in!
