It's awful, simply awful. Much rather see Maxi and Babel on the wings, or Cole even, with Pacheco or Shelvey in the hole, or for that matter instead of Lucas.
Let's hope Joe Cole is feeling up for it, cos there's precious little else in that team to do anything. Kuyt or Ngog might score, or Fabio might get something from a dead ball, but otherwise I can see this being a nervy 90 minutes of hanging on for grim death

It's kind of strange, it seems Roy is making a lot of the same rather questionable decisions as Rafa did late in his tenure.
Lucas in midfield. Aurelio at LM. Two holding midfielders. Etc.
Hopefully it's only untill he finds his best formation and untilll the key-players starts to find their fitness.

It's an important game primarily down to UEFA rankings. Liverpool are sitting 4th only behind United, Barca and the Chavs and as such guaranteed a good seeding should we get ourselves back into the Champions League soon. We shouldn't spoil that down to a blunder in Turkey.
It's an important game for the club in more than one way.
