This is just a continuation of our pre-season form and you can't say that goal wasn't coming or that it was undeserved. We've been fucking atrocious and unless we make big improvements in the second half, we'll do well to get a point.
The midfield has just not been good enough. Masher and Lucas are running about like headless chickens and out wide we've been dismal, Babel in particular. I miss Alonso already.

Reina - 9 - two superb saves
Insua - 6- keeping Lennon quiet most of the time
Skrtel - 6- couple of silly tackles in dangerous positions
Carra - 7 - has doen well clearing up except for that stupid header on Skrtel
Johnson - 6- quiet, but nothing majorly wrong
Masherano - 5- looks out of sorts
Lucas - 6.5 - good start but gone quiet
Kuyt - 5- not contributing at all really
Babel - 4 - except for one late run I forgot he was on the pitch
Gerrard - 4 - pretty poor and anonymous. Please God don't let him take any more corners !
Torres - 5- has not looked sharp at all but has had no service from any of the 3 behind him
Spurs 10 shots (5 on target) to our ONE off target says it all.

We need to completely change the way we're playing. As I said earlier, we're extremely cautious - but all it's done is invite Spurs to come at us and give them the confidence to believe they can beat us.
Doesn't help that our best players are all struggling for form, of course (Reina aside), but still... we can and must play much much better than this. Fucking tell 'em Rafa.
