But isn't the reason for all this wild speculation and twitterbollocks that we're not giving anything away (ie. The fabled Liverpool Way)? I'd rather the club be clear that they have their own strategy and will announce once the right people are in place, than feeding into the media frenzy with soundbites every few minutes.

Thanks to Whelan, every man and his dog knew Martinez was about to be interviewed. We've still made no announcement as to where we stand in relation to Martinez or any other "reported" candidate, bar make swift denials of any statements to the contrary.

The press are a joke. Ive heard more than one Journo saying we are a disgrace and a mess and dont know what we are doing etc etc SIMPLY because they dont know what we are doing they are starting rumour and then claiming the club are unsure of what we are doing.
The club as far as i can see are doing things behind closed doors, the press are spreading shit around and then trying to claim its our excrement. Hopefully wiser people know.
