Good first half that. Hopefully our stamina with the pressing game holds. Rodgers will have to use his bench well today and if he does we can get some joy. Kompany and Mangina look unsure at the back and can be gotten at with our pace.

Had a few chances in the first half where our decision making in the box wasn't top notch. A couple of simple passes instead of speculative shots when body positioning was all wrong would have meant 2-1 or 3-1 to us.
What a match. We've been really unlucky with a couple of great moves just falling short at the last kick.
Coutinho has been unplayable, showing again that he's in the same class as Silva of late.
Allen's had the best match of his season, apart from some poor corners, and what a goal from our gambolling captain!
This could go either way - we just need a slice of luck.

I really like how the team presses when this team is on the field - it's why Studge and co are on the bench.
I enjoyed that first half - a bit too much stupid shit in defense, but overall - we played really well.
That last move should have been a goal too ... one more pass from Sterling to Coutinho and BANG.

Pulsating first half; entertaining game of football with a couple of fantastic goals - one top class in its finishing, the other brilliant in the simplicity of its construction. Liverpool v Man City has become one of the must-watch game for the neutrals who love to see flowing football.
Oh and Moreno's right foot shot... 😀 He's cute so he forgiven, but he needs to work on his right peg in the summer.
