Sounds about right.

I'm very aware that there is less than a .007% chance that this happens, but if we win by more than 3 goals tomorrow we'll be in 6th place.

Stranger things have happened in football, but this i'm sure will never happen.

We "only" need to win by 2 clear goals to go 6th.

So the first eleven names is the team. Or is that too simple?

Lol. From another website:

Tottenham squad: Gomes, Cudicini, Hutton, Corluka, Bale, Gallas, Bassong, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Palacios, Sandro, Jenas, Kranjcar, Lennon, Bentley, Modric, Van der Vaart, Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Keane, Defoe.

Liverpool squad: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Konchesky, Lucas, Meireles, Kuyt, Rodriguez, Torres, Ngog, Jones, Poulsen, Aurelio, Kelly, Cole, Babel, Jovanovic.

Funny how the Liverpool provisional squad list is exactly the same. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but based on these, Spurs have got 21 players. We've got 18 in the squad. The way Spurs' squad is listed, its more in terms of position whereas for ours it looks like a starting 11 followed by subs. Is it due to the way we 'submit' our squad list for travelling party? Shall refer back on match day to see how the actual line up turns out to be.

So Roy actually 'names' his starting XI when he releases the squad list? ???

"Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Konchesky, Carragher, Skrtel, Lucas, Meireles, Maxi, Kuyt, Ngog, Torres.

Subs: Jones, Cole, Kyrgiakos, Aurelio, Babel, Poulsen, Jovanovic."
