Monster Performance today..

Played superb throughout.. Held the defence together.. MOM performance..

Defo wouldn't like to meet him down a dark ally though.. He still looks like a Psycho as ever..

Apparently when he goes for a out for Steak he always gets asked how he would like it cooked..

Rumours have it he replies 'what do you mean cooked?'

He's been brilliant since the formation change.
He stepped up today again when Sakho was missed.
Love to see his no nonsense style return as he's excellent when he sticks to it.

When he on his game he is amongst the best in Europe..
He really can be that good..

Today he was right up there..

Yeh, I've been quite vocal critic of Skrtel in the past, but have nothing but praise for him now, he's been sensational. I think playing in a back three has bought the best out of Can, Sakho, Skrtel and now seemingly Lovren, all of them have a mistake in them a game, but playing in a back three likes this gives them a little more security to get away with it. Just like last season, I'm in love with this team.

He's a good player and playing well so credit to him. Our defence looks like they're really getting the most out of this new system.

My issue with Skrtel over the last 8 years or so have been to do with the fact that one week he'll look immense against a real top class forward, and then will get bullied by Jon Walters or an Oldham striker the next. However, he seems to have finally found some consistency and kept his concentration up, so long may it continue.

He's been great, he's been great quite alot though throughout his time with us, but he's been the victim of an ever changing defense and being part of a back four that had hit and miss fullbacks that he's had to bail out. As far as being the no-nonsense type who mops up, is sharp to balls coming in and throws himself in front of everything, like Carragher he's exactly the sort of guy you want in there. His experience is starting to show these days and he's leading by example at the back. He's been aided massively by a brilliant Can and Sakho, but as a unit, and individually they've all been a credit to us of late.

It mad to think Rodgers was all ready to ship him out when he first came in.

First Player you would want on the teamsheet now

He looked shakey at the start of the season.. But then who didn't..

Love him.. Wears his heart on his sleeve..

He wasn't great today. Generally speaking he's such a great centre half that we need to play two others, one on either side of him.

Yes, definitely. He looks a different keeper - decisive, stronger and quicker off his line.
Yes...and I guess the point we're both making is that the confidence has spread right through the defensive unit and they're all so much better for it. Anyone would think we've appointed a new defensive coach.

I think playing three at the back has enabled all of our defenders to look much better because when they make their inevitable three or four fuck ups each per game theres some other cunt backing up to dig them out of the shit.

That plus Mignolet has turned into fucking Ray im hard as fuck bastard Grobelaar in the last few months doesnt do any harm.
