The banning a user or users from specific threads is one thing I can see us mods using more than other tools at our disposal.
If there's an argument or spat going on between two posters it usually becomes an issue as it takes other threads over. This is a way we can easily stop that.
If you are banned from a thread it should be obvious why. Wherever time constraints make it possible we will tell you why.
This bit is important. If you disagree with it, pm the mod or mods involved. Do NOT start a new thread or go unto another thread to continue it. That will merely exercabate the issue.
If you're banned from a thread it is the most obvious first warning you're ever gonna get to look at what you're doing & stop it effected other people on the forum.
Hopefully this tool will make our job a little easier at times & stop us having to do a very short ban to give someone a genuine sense of how much they're ruining things for other people.
If someone is banned from a thread then I would ask others not to then start talking about that person or taking the piss when they don't have a right to reply. Doing so will just lead to you being banned because you'll also be ruining the thread by doing so.
