The 0 five one club in Liverpool. Most locals will know it. Until I was about 13, I thought that actual nightclub was at the top of the building, where the words "0 five one" are. Seems a bit small to have a nightclub up there now...
Another one was the Runcorn bridge. I thought you actually drove "over" it, like you drove up the green metal bit and went right the way over the top. I never went near this bridge till I was about 8 or 9 so could only see it from a distance.
