I completely agree, he is a fantastic footballer, definitely capable of being a first teamer, however if we got him I would probably loan for him back for the season and give Henderson and Allen a season to prove that they can be good enough for a team who want to challenge for the top 4. Would love for us to buy him. £6m seems very cheap I reckon!

He was highly rated as a kid, disappeared and looked very decent against the Gooners. Is he shit? or just a solid CM?

Well then he must've played the game of his life last night as he was everything you'd hope Lucas to be and more.
Yeah well he's shit. Was very hghly rated once, played for the u21s. Villa paid a lot too sign him and he didn't really do to well.
Has been a sub for most of his career.

Despite having never really noticed him before last night I beg to differ, simply as that was one of the finest CM performances I've seen in a while. Great skill, incredible work-rate, great attitude and crisp passing. He could even run at pace and nutmeg players. Looked pretty versatile and exactly what we've lacked in the engine room for a while.
If he can do the job, and has a point to prove, I would offer £7m for him.
I wonder whats the possibility of us landing both Sigurdsson and Moses, esp if Eriksen and Atsu moves to Spurs and Chelsea respectively.
I really hope not.
