Set pieces

I think that one of the few positives Gerrard can take away from this season is that his set piece delivery as well as his crosses have generally been pretty great.

I remember some threads a couple seasons ago talking about the inconsistency / poor quality of our set piece delivery vs our ability to actually attack them properly in the box and this season, I think it really has shown that even with top class delivery, we still manage to make a mess of it half the time. Agger for example, should be on a career high this season.

Gerrard's set piece delivery has certainly improved, but we're still letting other teams off lightly by not getting him on the receiving end of them instead. I don't know if there's no-one else who can knock them in there well enough to allow that to happen, or if Gerrard's insisting on taking them regardless. Either way, the situation still needs sorting IMO.
