I believe Dutch kids learn basic English, French and German, though I couldn't swear to it. Would be interested to hear from our resident Scandos whether the kids in their countries are taken through a similar régime.

Embarrassingly, numerous Dutch and Scando players' English is better than that of some of their English teammates, and not just the youngsters either.

The kids over here learn English from about the age of 7-8 and chooses a third language from the age of 13. French and German have been the two most common choices but Spanish is also a possibility.

Same in Israel pretty much but I remember the choice of a 3rd language being French or Arabic.

Salah needs Lovren, so doubt he'll be sold and papers also report he won't be sold.
Lallana is going no where either

Great for us that Fabinho got the summer off. He is going to play a lot of games with Hendo, Gini, Milner & Ox all rotating around him.

I rate Hoever from what i've seen but he feels more like a conservative right back (i.e. one who prefers to defend than attack, even though he looks tasty at times attacking) but he looks on paper to be too small to be a CB in the PL unless he bulks up. SVDB looks like he could do a job and I expect him to put on some big strength gains in the next 24 months too.
