if we lose.

I said a long time ago that I was more looking forward to the cups than the league and this feeling has only gotten stronger as the season has progressed.

Granted I got giddy at the sight of Sterling last week but if we lose Saturday that will pretty much be it for me and the season.

I'll just have to look forward to the Euros.

I really hope thats not the case and would hate to see the manager that brought us our first silverware in 6 years sacked after 1 full season and only 1 proper transfer window.

That's a really bold claim Dreamy.

So what you're suggesting is that if we lose the semi-final of the FA Cup, we won't have much left to play for this year?

Outlandish.

If we lose Saturday it could be the end of Kenny also . A Cup semi is of course an achievement but United aside has it been the toughest route to the semi ? Lose and we're left with a carling cup and finishing 7th -10th . Is that good enough ?

If we lose on Saturday, it'll be the end of him I'd say.

They won't keep him after that will they?

Do they have big enough cojones to get rid of him ? I'm not so sure .

Do they have enough cojones to pay him and his backroom staff out is probably a more pertinent question?

Would you rather we lose than to get rid of a manager who's you hate with a passion (much like Ross does with Rafa)? Or would your rather we win the cup so he tortures you for one more season?

I'd never ever want us to lose mate.

Much as I want a better manager, there's no way I'd accept losing to fucking Everton in the semi final of the Cup.

SWEEEEEEET -

I think we can win on Saturday - the team has switched off for weeks in anticipation for it (or so it seems).

Everton are due a result again us. I just hope it doesn't come on Saturday.

Really want us to progress.

I'm not worried, we'll win and we won't have any trouble scoring.
A motivated Liverpool side will always beat Everton.

Well.......he's right.

Unless you count pride.

We're a much better team than Everton we just need to get our arses into gear and stop playing like clowns, hopefully this game will inspire us to do so.

it's a cup semi final and it isn't always about the better team rather who wants it more on the day.

Harsh, they won't keep him after the stupidity of an experienced keeper gave us it all to do after the hard work of getting to the semi's past a few good sides?

Thats my point, it isn't always about the best team but it makes a huge difference, hopefully as it's a cup semi final, form will go out of the window, christ we need it too.

Doni or Reina?

Doni - you're being harsh. It was Flanno's fault and Doni went for the ball. He was just unlucky.
Reina - Yeah, he shouldn't have tried to get in Simpsons (or whatever his name is) face.

Just my take on it mate. If he loses on Saturday, he'll be gone in the summer.

Yeah, I don't think overall it reflects well as a good season when ultimately we've walked away with a league cup and a poor domestic finish, but we've done well to get this far in the FA Cup and our issue now is over the keeper, we'd stand a better chance if Reina had kept his cool.

I meant Reina lads. I think Doni was unfortunate to be honest and I felt a bit gutted for him, he looked devastated.

Me too, I quite liked him as a goalkeeper, was a good step in for Reina. I'd be a lot more confident going into Saturday if Doni was playing and not Jones.

Come on guys. Lets enjoy the thrill of the game before we start to worry about what happens after the game. These games are what we all want. if we are afraid to loose them we shouldn't be there in the first place.

Tony Evans was on talkshite this morning & the that fuck head ronny something or other asked him what the score would be on Saturday.

His response was ace. He said 'Everton haven't beaten us in a final or semi final since 1905, & regardless of form, at some point on Saturday afternoon Everton will remember who they are & they'll realise who they're playing. Walk in the park.'
