Most improved: Henderson (if we are talking about improvement of one's overall level as a player; I don't think Downing improved his level, just found form and confidence)
Best player? Suarez obviously
Best young player? Sterrling
Most improved? Suarez
Most disappointing? Allen
This ^^^^Suarez
Sterling (unless Coutinho does something really special over the last few games)
Henderson
Şahin
Best player? Suarez (like you needed to ask 😉 )
Best young player? What's classed as young? Sturridge is 23. I'll go for Coutinho, although he's only played 2 games.
Most improved? Toss-up between Downing and Henderson. Downing probably edges it, as he was slightly more shite than Henderson was.
Most disappointing? Allen
Best player: Suarez obv
Best youngster: Sterling for making the step up from the reserves
Most improved: Tough one as there are a couple of candidates. Ultimately I'd give it to Henderson I think. Stewie has improved but has had little competition for his place and a lot of playing time. Henderson has come in after long spells out and still been able to perform at a good level. There is also a case for giving it to Gerrard who has had a good season overall.
Biggest disappointment: Tie between Allen, Borini and Şahin.
Suarez
Sterling (Coutinho looks great but with very few games under his belt still, perhaps Ill pick him though in 9 games time)
Henderson
Allen
My definition of "young player" is someone 21 and under, so that rules out Henderson.
Best player: Suarez
Best young player: Sterling
Most improved: Enrique
Most disappointing: shared: Reina, Skrtel and Agger
My other nominations:
Best newcomer (transfers): Sturridge
Best comeback (injury): Gerrard
Changing my votes.
Best young player is definitely Coutinho.
Best newcomer (transfers) is going to be Coutinho soon if Sturridge doesn't start scoring a few more soon.
Also, adding Best Goal Celebration - Jordan Henderson. I love his passion when he celebrates. He goes like, "Fucking Yah!!! Fuck Yeah... Fah... Arbragaguaguaguaguabragarawa... Wa! Wa!". Love it.
