Any suggestions where to go and what to see in Scotland (in September and preferably on the east side of Scotland)? I´m doing the Ride across Britain and was thinking about staying in Scotland for a few days (4-7 days) after the ride. The ride ends at John o´Groats. As I probably have my bike with me I don´t want to travel to much, or perhaps have a base and from there go to different places (if I don´t manage to store it somewhere).
Which town is better to spend a few days in Aberdeen or Edinburgh (I can fly home from both citys)? My guess is Edinburgh`?
