Yer hoop. Who's going to replace him? By this I mean his goals and assists not some pipe dream that;Mad not to accept, if true.
Sell.
Yer hoop. Who's going to replace him? By this I mean his goals and assists not some pipe dream that;
1, the owners will actually spend the money on a replacement and;
2. Who will contribute the involvement in goals he has, and finally;
3. Not include some pipe dream that we could spend the money shoreing up the defence which would negate his goals.
I'm not saying that it would never be a sell but the day of the transfer window closing?
He’s not where we should be focusing.Considering the lizards won't be helping the club out, we need to start selling talent that are clearly on a downward trajectory. At €150m+ it's going to be difficult to say no, especially considering we are well stacked in attacking personnel
Everyone makes mistakes 😀I checked up, and Yes I hold my hands up I was wrong about this...😳

Why are we writing off this season? We've had a good start against the odds and adding Gravenberch.It is mental money for a 31 year old but it might also effectively write off the season for us already. So imo many of us probably want compensated for the latter in any sale and I’m not sure the current offer quite does that.
Yeah but he will certainly not be on the face of Mt Rushmore.
In Saudi they’ll build a sphinx with his face on it.
That sort of money its hard to turn down especially as we struggle every window to sign players. We have enough attackers not to buy anyone till Jan, but if you want a name, then Gonclaves £70m. Him and Nunez could be am effective partnershipYer hoop. Who's going to replace him? By this I mean his goals and assists not some pipe dream that;

We could win something.
The Saudis will knock again next summer for a similar fee.
No, the players on the pitch win football matches, not the huge sums of unspent money in the bank.Surely for that fee, you’d have to consider selling him….. (in January)
Since its deadline day, my breaking point would be at around £200 mill.
True, the problem with getting £180+ mill, is that EVERY team in the world also knows that you got that money.I’m firm until £180 myself
we could win the net spend table this summer.. exciting

So expect this response:
It's deadline day. As far as I am concerned, we should reject any bid for Salah today.
If any team wants him that badly then they will be back next year.
I know some people like to pretend we have loads of forwards and it doesn't matter, but this guy has been our top scorer for the past 6 seasons. Nunez and Gakpo are still a little patchy, and Jota and Diaz do get injured. The picture isn't especially rosy without Salah.
Just to add, even by Saudi club standards it is a weird way of behaving if they really do want him. Surely better to get the offer in earlier when we actually (in theory) had time to get a replacement. You'd think we would have been more likely to sell last week (I still wouldn't have done, to be clear, but you see what I mean).
