This is so obvious that repeating the same answer becomes boring. As many people on the forum have stated on the Saudis will still bid a shitload for Salah next year. So no pressure, no worries.
They can get to fuck with the last day offer, it doesn’t work for us in any way and so why should we bend their desire?

Its 200m if they want him today, and that's only if the club have a CB and rw lined up.

So I guess it's a no
Even if we had lined up replacements as you say, no one would sell them to us as it’s too late so it doesn’t matter.
HOLD THE LINE!

It's possible we have said no to this initial bid with the purpose of finding quick and worthy replacements and hopefully a new CB knowing a 2nd bid is imminent. All so we don't get fleeced by purchasing new players so late in window. Or maybe it's none of this and I couldn't give a flying fuck!

As long as the funds are put back into the squad, I'd sell him for £150m+.

I don't take for certain that next year a bid will automatically come in for a similar amount .....A lot can change over that period of time.

I'd tell them to come back to us with the same offer in January.

We can have time to plan for his exit then (and he'll be off to Afcon anyway).

There is no price at this stage of the window that makes sense to sell. None.

He’s our talisman and pivotal to our identity on and off the pitch.
Let's not get carried away. He's a very good player who scores a lot of our goals. Without him, those goals don't disappear - they just get distributed elsewhere. I appreciate it may take the team some time to adjust, but we're in a period of transition anyway. And we're pretty well-stocked up front. I think we could make it work.

It also strikes me as a very targets plan to completely derail Klopp and us.

He's still a great player who produces good numbers, but let's not kid ourselves, he's nowhere near the player he once was.

£150m+ for a 31 year old Salah........Yes please!

Newcastle owners?

As much as I don't want to sell him, every player has a price. If they offered £250m (for a 31 year old), we'd simply have to sell (heck, he could pull his hammy next week!), as that would fund a complete squad rebuild. And let's face it, whilst he's world class, he's past his peak.

Yep.

We have to rinse them.

It is a bit like what Real said when they bought Beckham, and were surprised how low the price Man U started negotiations with when they bought him.

"They think they are selling a football player"

For them, Salah is much more than that.
