The Express running with this (nicked from Sky Sports round up)

Reports in Spain have suggested Liverpool will try to sign Barcelona pair Ansu Fati and Abde Ezzalzouli if the sale of Mo Salah to Al-Ittihad is sanctioned.

FWIW Ez Abde doesn’t qualify as U21

So you pointed out that Salah’s were down and he can no longer score as freely as he once did?

Did you really?

Would you like to share these figures and show just how much Salah’s “goal returns” have dropped off?

I’d really, really like to see them.

I’d like to see them too. He’s been amazingly consistent. He’s one of those players who will only be truly appreciated by some when he’s gone.

Let’s give DonnerVan a little time to pull those figures together.

Sky’s transfer talk headline is Mo Salah to Saudi.

They then say no bid made and no push from Mo or Liverpool

Six minutes in and still piffling!

It is not for the sake of just getting rid... I pointed out a couple for season back that both Salah and Mane's form had fallen of a cliff (Mane's was more obvious) but Salah's goal returns were down, and they continue to fall. Notice how he can rarelycurl the ball into the top left corner anymore due to being to predictable...? Along with his loss of pace he can nolonger score as freely as he once did for us.

When your form falls off the cliff you raely getting back. Some players can still produce at a high level, CR7, Messi,Modric, but most fall and keep tumbling
Torres and Gerrard to name two of ours. I was saying that Gerrards legs were going a season and a half before most excpeted they were...
And yes I have also said that Salah has adapted his game by providing a lot more assissts. But he nolonger scores as regularly as he does...The right thing is to sell him while we can get a decent price or as said Loss him on a free two years down the line

How are you going with those stats.

Shout out if you need some help.

TransferMarkt will give you goals, assists & minutes played.

Should be pretty easy to show how the “goal returns were down” and how they “continue to fall” and heccan “no longer score as freely as he once did” or “no longer scores as regularly as he once did” as well as showing how he’s “providing a lot more assists”.

You are aware you are just factually wrong here when it comes to goals and assists right?

Please stay Salah.

Stay til you are 35, you legend.
Considering the lizards won't be helping the club out, we need to start selling talent that are clearly on a downward trajectory. At €150m+ it's going to be difficult to say no, especially considering we are well stacked in attacking personnel

In the last few years we have had 5 or 6 forwards.

If we sell Salah we have 4.

And bearing in mind that Salah has been our top scorer (usually by some margin), we might not seem quite as well stacked if he goes.

I'm starting to think Donovan is just trolling people at this point.

Oh - I hope you’re right.

There’s times I’ve wondered whether it’s Dreamie’s alt account for when he’s bored - calling himself out for being wrong is just about the most Dreamie thing ever.
