The proven world class coach couldnt get the world class player and his cohorts to beat Reading,Pompey and a whole other bunch of shit teams.

This season, yeah. The thing is your angry and you're looking for a scapegoat so naturally Rafa is the man to direct your (and others) frustration at, I understand that. But you're advocating sacking the 2nd most sucessful manager of an English club over the last five years halfway through the season. We have good and bad moments as a club and sacking a manager months after giving a 5 year contract is folly. My own opinion is now is not the time to sack Rafa.
People need to remember how far he has taken us as a club. He's made us a global force again and has made us appear as a big club, which other than our illustrious history, we are not. I repeat, now is not the time to sack Rafa.

I can understand the logic to not getting rid now, and i do appreciate what he has done for us. However others have said it before. This reeks of houllier. I personally like the man because for the memories he's given us. however we have a squad there ho are so talented, and adored by the fans, who simply aren't playing to their standard. If only a couple were being poor then i could say it was their problem, however the squad is dire in form presently, and it must be a behind the scenes issue. The stand offish approach of benitez isn't what we need to gee up the players. Even big wins don't seem to do it now (see Man united) when they used to.
I just want him to leave before he becomes hated.
