Bent and Jones started the season in great form and looked to have a promising partnership. Not sure what's gone on since.
Jones is good, although I'm bound to say that; 2 years ago, after witnessing an awesome performance, I labelled him the new Drogba on here. *cringe*
He *can* be unplayable though. Sometimes. And when he's not, he's a big fucker who makes a nuisance of himself and brings others into play well.

Leaving aside the attributes he'll bring from an offensive perspective, having another fucking tall player in our side wouldn't go amiss. Especially given the way we've been defending set-pieces. Removing Hyypia, Sissoko, and Crouch from our side and replacing them with dwarves over the years hasn't helped.

Because the 9M would go straight towards paying off debt that's why. It's either lose Babel and get a proven premier league striker in return, or lose Babel and give the money to one of the 257623455668 banks we've got loans out with.
