Rafa signed Babel and he's got a contract with us.
Again Its stupid to blame him.
Rafa's poor management skills are creating these problems.
Rafa wants to sell him but he wants to stay or doesnt want to go to these clubs.
Thats why he wasnt in the squad a Stoke.
Poor the Rafa, He's failing miserably.

babel will recieve the same treatment as doss and voronin for the rest of the season if this is true. and he won't be so keen to stick around when he truly realises he won't be playing a single game.

It's equally pointless to blaime Rafa here.

It's within everyones interests for Babel to find a new club.

Well, I don't see why Babel should have to move to Sunderland. I wouldn't fancy living there.

it would be a good move for him, in a football sense. shit hip hop scene, though.

Well from what I've seen on the web he's absolutely shit as a rapper so he'd fit in nicely.

I'm sure Babel knows that too - he wants to play at the WC, after all. He's probably holding out for a move back to Ajax or to some club in Spain or Italy.

Having been to Sunderland, Amsterdam, Spain and Italy, I can't say I blame him.

Liverpool winger Ryan Babel's agent claims his client could yet seal a move to Birmingham City.

The Blues lodged a big-money bid with their Premier League rivals for the Dutch international earlier this month.

However, the £9million offer was rejected amid claims that Babel himself had shunned the approach.

But now it seems the 23-year-old, who has attracted attention from a number of clubs on the continent, is now ready to consider a switch to St Andrews after yet another spat with manager Rafa Benietz.

His agent Winnie Haatrecht confirmed that Babel is now thinking over Birmingham's offer.

"Birmingham is still a possibility," he told The Lying Rag.

"It would be simpler for Ryan to continue in the Premier League, a competition he knows well.

"We're actually studying an offer."

Why would he want to go there? Why should he?

He'd clearly much prefer to go to Gala, or Ajax, so I wouldn't blame him for holding out until summer, when his contract's wound down a bit and there's more money around for clubs he would prefer.

The ONLY reason he would go there right now, is because he wants to play in the WC.

And I'd argue thats the strong leverage that Beintez has - the coach has alreday said that all the Dutch players need to be playing 1st team football, and Rafa can probably make some mileage just by informing Babel that he isnt going to play bar a plague breaking out on the subs bench........ Babel, however, would also be fucking mad to go to Galatasaray - Birmingham probably doesnt look like too bad an option.

i wonder whether we'd get more money for him after a 6 month loan somewhere.
