I predict that England could come in for more criticism soon, because both Algeria and Slovenia strike me as teams that specialise in "parking the bus" so unless we grab early goals, they could be difficult to break down.

Maybe. Algeria have to win the game though, or they're out.

If we play Green again they won't need to come at us.

You thinking Carragher backpass?

Some keepers allow a bad mistake to affect their nerves for months (Dudek) whereas others just put the mistake out of their minds (Reina).

I would have picked the more reliable Hart for the USA match, but Green strikes me as belonging to the thick-skinned, mentally stable category so I think Capello will probably stick with him now.

Plus he makes mistakes all the time so is no doubt accustomed to recovering from them.

Carragher looked terrible when he came on. Terry is decent but slow. Johnson played well, but there's one mistake in him.

And Green is Green.

Ashley Cole is the only person I have faith in in the England back-line at the minute. We let in quite a few goals during qualification, far more than we should have and we'll pay the price for it at this WC unless they tighten up sharp.
