Ah come on, I know you've always been one of his foremost fans, but there's nobody who thinks he's anything like as bad as Woy was. He gave us a glorious "nearly" season, undone by no defence and some odd decisions, and then it all fell apart.
I think, though, that it's only fair to say that he does generate more stick and abuse than his achievements merit, because he's quite a gobshite. So it's partly his own fault.
Plus he bought fucking Joe Allen. Some things I can't forgive.

Yes, I don't care what flak the Scottish league gets, his record there is still hugely impressive, especially his first season.
I think he will do more than OK there. They do have a good scouting team and decent group of young players whom he can improve. I can also see him having a very impressive first season when his attacking coaching is meshed with the inherent defensive discipine instilled by Puel. Similar to what Martinez had with Everton in his first season.
Be interesting to see how he handles Vardy.
It's not quite the same as Gerrard, but he's certainly a player he needs to get onside and use properly, or make a quick decision to fuck off.
