Rodgers plans

No, but we do seem to sign the worst of them!

To be fair our record in signing, English, Scottish, Irish, French, Serbian, Welsh, Italian, Dutch, German, Turkish, Moroccan, Australian, Austrian, Greek & Danish ain't great either.

Weirdly I signed him and Heiderweileder or whatever his name is as my first two signings on fifa after selling Skrtel and Reina.

Rodgers wants 3 world class signing this summer according to the Telegraph.
Dede and......

We've apperantly been watching Wanyama A LOT, so hopefully he's one our signing. Not world class mind.

PS Hangeland could be available on a free apparently. I personally believe he'd be a very nice CB to have in the squad. He's never had to rely on his pace so the fact he's 32 now doesn't worry me.

Dede (or another strong, world class type), Hangeland, Agger, Wisdom, Kelly would be splendid.

I've seen so very little of this Wanyama chap live, but a good friend of mine who's a major Barca fan (lurks on these boards too, you know who you are LasseG) was majorly impressed with him in Celtic's two Barca fixtures. He's normally a great spotter of class (Bojan, his blindspot, aside) so I had to follow him closer after those praisals.

Having then seen him in glimpses and read a few reviews of him afterwards has convinced me he's exactly what we've been missing. At least as a type. The fact he's also described as someone being very comfortable on the ball just makes him even more attractive. And he can cover the CB position as well.

What's not to like?

That the Fulham Hangeland? I thought Hangeland used to be decent but the couple of times I saw him this season, he was nowhere near what he was. Absolutely gash in those games (sorry, can't remember which).

I haven't seen him much this Season to be honest, wasn't aware he was having a poor Season.

I remember now - it was against Arsenal and us I think when Hangeland was really poor, especially against the Gunners. To be fair, I've seen him in much better and more impressive form in the past. These were the only occasions I saw him play this season though.

Well, hold onto your hat my good Danish friend.
According to an interview with ESPN Agger wants to play for Liverpool for the rest of his career.
He said something similiar this morning to Danish medias prior to tomorrows Int.

Lovely news.

He's also heaped praise on Rodgers and the managerial team in general for keeping him injury free with improved individual schemes and training methods. Bodes well for the future.

If only the coaching staff could make him mistake free, eh K?😎

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger says it would be a dream to finish his career at the club.
Agger, 28, who signed for the Reds from Brondby in January 2006, has become an integral member of the Anfield defence and has since reportedly attracted interest from Barcelona.
However, when asked by bold.dk if it would be a dream to remain at Liverpool until he retires, the Denmark international, who committed himself to the club up until 2016 in October, said: "Yes, I have signed a contract with them for at least three more years."
Although their form has picked up recently, Liverpool have had a fairly inconsistent season overall and currently sit seventh in the Premier League.
Agger feels the Anfield club have underperformed this term and should really be placed higher up the table.
"We have not been good enough. Not at the right times at least. We played well but we have not got the results we want," he said.

Hardly surprising he wants to stay.

We pay him a fortune, he has bugger all competition for places, and he's not required to be any fucking good.

Where's the risk in it for him?
