I like them because of their big portions.
The food or their height?
The food. In the restaurants you always get a massive plate of food, including the Indonesian restaurants where they have clearly learned the habits of the host community!
I imagine it would be more like.

------Herrera--------------------Di Maria

Think we will sign another midfielder to replace Carrick and possibly a CB to replace Jones.

3rd division sides would score goals against that lot. Your entire right side consists of Rafael. Who has got torn apart by almost everyone.
What do you expect to win with that side?
That basically the formation we played often last season, and will again now Balotelli is here, but with players that just don't suit. The formation needs runners, Henderson level runners, neither Di Maria or Herrera are that, fuck I might even say Cleverly would be better suited there in that formation. Also, as Ryan pointed out, Rafael playing there is an accident waiting to happen. If you were to play that formation though, it would make sense to drop Mata and play Di Maria at the tip of diamond, however, you're losing your best players doing that. We play that formation to allow our best players all to play, that formation doesn't allow that for you, however I struggle to think of a formation that will allow you to play ADM, JM, WR, RVP, whilst keeping them in their best positions, 4-2-3-1 maybe, with WR, JM, ADM rotating behind RVP? Maybe, but Rooney will be ineffective playing out wide, and leave your midfield exposed playing in the middle. Tricky.I imagine it would be more like.

I think at least one of Mata and Herrera is gonna be toast in all of this.
Mata I reckon.

They'd better hope herrera can defend. Can Herrera defend anybody?
Yep, I agree. He's not quick enough to play in Van Gaal's fast break 3-5-2/4-3-3 and he offers nothing defensively. Mourinho didn't play him for exactly those reasons.
Not to the same levels as Henderson and Allen, as you'd need in that formation.Di Maria is a runner.
Their defensive midfielder is a lot more mobile than ours, so you don't need to get back as quickly. And it depends if they play a high pressing game like we do.Not to the same levels as Henderson and Allen, as you'd need in that formation.
That's true, the assumption would be they'd line up similarly to our diamond, where the side midfielders are expected to provide cover to the fullbacks as well as doing their midfield duties, either way, I don't think Di Maria would suit that position in the system, but he'd be perfect on the tip of the diamond, poor Mata.Their defensive midfielder is a lot more mobile than ours, so you don't need to get back as quickly. To bad it's not Swans.Cross Post

Kim Jong-Un is a Manchester United fan
Manchester United have another famous fan they can add to their books.
It turns out the communist dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un, supports the Old Trafford outfit.
According to reports, that's something he now wants to share with the rest of his country.
North Korea has very strict policies on the media, and only what has been sanctioned by the state can be searched for online, listened to or seen on TV.
And now the games will be broadcast to all of North Korea through state TV.
It's said to come amid other changes, which could include more European football, from Germany.
Other shows available to North Koreans include programmes on how to ride a horse and how to play golf.
