you got me there I did say he was superb in the game in my opening post and I thought he was from what I saw on the box, tackling, getting forward and a real threat on goal unlike our CM fuckers.

What I did not say was he was an excellent player all the time and CM we should buy what a star BLAH BLAH, like folks said he has hardly played in CM so maybe thats why he was up for it. Petrov was good as well, they lost Barry we lost Alonso, we looked like we missed ours more.

So Reo Coker and a Celtic reject showed LFC's Central midfielders up, thats not good is it.

So wind your mouthy neck in, I know you are trying to play the tough guy on here lately but its a bit sad, I am sure you used to be quite funny years ago

They didn't really "show us up". They got three goals from set pieces. Whilst we we're chasing the game, their midfielders we're allowed space to roam into. It was the syle on that game. Just that game. Reo - coker could play us ten times this season and be limited to standing on the edge of his D trying to help stop a stampeding Gerrard. It wouldn't have a chance to show Rafa anything.

In this particular game, other factors including us chasing the game allowed Coker to run into space and catch us on the break.

I know what your trying to say, We need a player who can make surging runs into the box, join in with attack, bust a gut to get into positions. Others are just trying to tell you that it was only the conditions of this particular game that afforded him that chance to make those one or two runs into the box.

We played into Villa's hands in the second half but didn't have any choice in the matter. I thought Mascher, Skrtel and Carra did well repelling Villa's counter attacks as I can't remembering Reina having a save to make... actually, did Villa get a shot on target in the 2nd half apart from the pen? If you contrast that to how busy Friedel was, you're being too generous to Villa and overly harsh on us.

I felt we showed tremendous spirit in the 2nd half and never felt the match was over at 2 down. I kept thinking to myself if we can get it to 2-1 around the 70th minute mark, we'll go on to get a draw at least. We got our goal but once again just as in the Spurs match, our concentration fell away straight after we scored and we let the match slip away from us.
