We will get relegated.
Pretty ridiculous post. Nothing to even back it up.

There's not a chance teams like West Ham, Stoke, Blackpool, Birmingham, Fulham, Sunderland and many more will be ahead of Liverpool come the end of the season. The squad we have at the moment is capable of picking up more points, not to mention the squad we will have come January
Everyone said that about Leeds side too when they got relegated.

Dont't forget that we have the worst manager in the league and absolutely awful defence, actually worse defence than under Evans. We also have fucking cunt Lucas destroying our chances to win. Plus fucking cunt Joe Cole, who has only done harm to Liverpool football club so far.

So prepare to relegation so it wont hurt as much when it actually happens.

TO be honest, Roy won't be in the job for too much longer. John Henry won't keep him there if results continue.
The manager who won best manager in the league in the previous season can't be labeled the worst manager in the league 8 games later. Again I'm not sticking up for him becasue I would rather somebody more capable of 'this' job comes in. Hodgson certainly has some strengths, just not the ability to occupy the Liverpool position.

Honestly mate, no need to be telling yourself that. Keep the faith, things will improve! I'll even go as far as saying we won't be in the bottom half of the table come christmas.

One things for sure, if we lose anymore more of our top players (we are missing Kuyt big time in this situation), it could become very worrying.

Who are all these brilliant reinforcements that we're going to get in January that are going to pull us out of the mire?

The other day we were linked with Chris Brunt at West Brom on the BBC.

That'll sort us right out.

No idea Sheik. But the reinforcement don't need to be brilliant. Even if they are competent or semi decent (CM/ Back Up Striker/ LB) it will be an improvement.

the leeds team had top class players in most positions, like fowler says they were miles better than our pathetic team. but despite their class none of them had the stomach or the heart for a relegation battle.

kind of like us. you can all kid yourselves with the knowledge that we have better players than stoke, sunderland and the other shite. but those "better players" don't have a bollock between them. only a fucking idiot would rely on our players to dig in and get us out of this. they're a bunch of fucking girls

For 9-10m!!!

There was a discussion on Soccer Saturday where Stelling asked how many Liverpool players would get on the Everton team. Even Thommo struggled to come up with five. Reina Gerrard Torres and maybe Carra and Johnson. And thats frightening

We won't sign any big names in January.

We'll be lucky if we get one transfer conducted in that time.

Won't it be much tougher to attract top players (other than money grabbers) if we're still down low?

I know we're still Liverpool and all that, but it could be a problem.

we shouldn't be signing short term fixes that will only have to be moved on in a years time, in january...

as we already signed them in the summer.

I think we will absolutely purchase players if we are anywhere near the relegation places at that point.

Some journalist, somewhere, should write a sort of doomsday article—in the event of Liverpool relegation, what contact clauses would kick in and what would the approximate revenue losses be.

I can't believe the Reds will be anywhere near the relegation line months from now, but it's sure worth over-analyzing. NESV probably don't want to make panic transfer purchase, but they will do enough to offset any chance of financial calamity. Just my hunch.

Belief! Faith!

That is all we have. For now. We do not have the evidence. Not with our plays. Not with our tactics.

Will it be justified?

A fairly safe one IMO. They haven't just spent £300 mill.to see it pissed away.

That is why we are a completely different proposition to Leeds they may have had some decent players but they had gone bust not just been battled over in the high courts

Spot on! Leeds were getting rid of all their players as they were in crazy amounts of debt. We have money to be buying players and not sell our best ones from the current squad. You can't really compare us to Leeds on that point alone.

To put a perspective on things, if we win our next two games, home to Blackburn and away to Bolton (I'm saying 'if' here by the way), we will more than likely be in the top half of the table.

Lads it's way too early to be having this discussion. Just relax a bit and see where we will be in a few weeks time. The whole relegation topic will be forgotten by then.

I hope you're right, mate, and I think you probably are, but I don't agree that it's too early to have the discussion. This is a live issue right now, and will be until (a) Roy's been given his cards and (b) we've actually climbed that table.

Better to sound the warning now and change course rather than be the Titanic who thought she could (edit not) be sunk!

I'm baffled as to why we persist with these non-tactics. We don't look like getting any points at the moment. At this rate we will be relegated. The Manager must do better, he has plentiful experience; he surely has a Plan B.

If we don't take points in the next two League matches he surely has to be replaced? No improvement and it is going to be along and anxious season.

I've got a feeling this could be a distinct possibility. Especially the longer Roy is here.

Nah!
We will buy our way out of it with a new manager and players.

We need about 9 players and a decent manager. It says a lot when I don't expect us to win against fucking Blackburn. I called the derby down to a tee with a bitter mate of mine. I was worried by my accuracy.
Fucking hell lads. There are 90 points to play for still. Surely we can get 30 of those?
How depressing is that, though? 14th or something in the league would only be marginally better than relegation for me. I hoped for top 4 this season, and I think anything else would be a poor season.

However we've been so bad that top HALF would be regarded as a good turn around.

*Depressed*
