Millie or Keita needs to stay home more. They’re leaving too much for Morton to do to stop counter attacks

Trent swinging between the sublime and utter shit all game. Some super slack passing and defending followed by great passes. He really needs to become more consistent.
Our midfield is shite. Not having any one of Thiago, Fabinho or Henderson really hurting us today.

Passing very sloppy today. We're underhitting so many of them
As I said earlier - this grass looks long and many of our players seem to be under-hitting their passes ... or waiting for the ball to come to them resulting in it being intercepted. It helps Spurs hitting long balls to Son & Kane so I suspect it's a deliberate ploy.

Mane, Robertson, Trent have been superb.

Morton and Konate - as expected. This is going to be a tense night.

Our midfield isn't serving its purpose of trapping Spurs in their own half, Morton can't win the majority of balls in the air, and Keita and Milner aren't getting to the ball first enough either, we need to sort this midfield to win, otherwise they'll score from one of the many breaks they're getting due to the above.

Red card to Kane and a blatant penalty not given.

Could someone have a look and see if Marriner is even watching the game in the VAR room?

Ref clearly bottled both big decisions Kane off..Pen on Jota. We are very high and that's obviously giving them so much space. Milner needs to drop slightly deeper to help Morton. But we are wound up and I expect a 3 poss 4-1 win.

I can't see any way that both teams don't score again if this continues. I'm going 2-3 for us as we are looking more and more in control (despite all 3 midfielders having given away goal scoring chances - one taken).

So just to clarify VAR were on tea break for both incidents where Kane shouldv'e walked and Jota shouldv'e been awarded a pen?

Cool.

Ref probably saw Winks Davies and Dier in same line up and thought, gotta even it out here a bit.

This is not a red card in today's game* (* if foul committed by Harry Kane)

The plus side about having a Fanny for a referee is not having to worry about challenges like that from Matip
