This suggests there is a financial incentive to topping the league alongside money for each match result:

There is additional money awarded based on a team's finishing position in the new league-phase standings. The distribution of funds is structured through a "ranking bonus," which is allocated in equal shares.

Here’s how it works:

There are 666 equal shares, each worth approximately €275,000.

The team that finishes 36th receives 1 share (€275,000).

The team in 35th place gets 2 shares (€550,000), and so on.

The top-ranked team in the league phase receives 36 shares, which totals approximately €9.9 million.

This ranking bonus is in addition to the match result payments (€2.1 million for a win and €700,000 for a draw) and other financial rewards for advancing through the knock out stages.

Also looks like Ali wasn't training. Hope he's just being rested.

Red vests:

Van Dijk
Quansah
Gomez
Bradley
Tsimikas
Endo
McConnell
Szobo
Diaz
Chiesa

Yellow vests:

Salah
Nunez

No vests:

Konate
Robbo
Trent
Macca
Gravy
Gakpo
Elliott
Morton
Danns
Nyoni

Using the "Bib theory" the red team looks interesting. Not sure how that would look in a formation though.
Maybe swap Gomez with Nunez and that could be the line up. So:

Kelleher

Bradders
Quansah
Van Dijk
Tsimikas

Endo
McConnell
Szobo

Diaz
Nunez
Chiesa

#LFC travelling squad for PSV Eindhoven:
Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Robertson, Kone-Doherty, Mabaya, McConnell, Jaros, Kelleher, Nallo, Morrison, Danns, Norris, Quansah, Morton, Bradley, Davies, Nyoni.
I love it. Fuck the €12m - we may get it anyway but clearly the PL has been prioritised and not the money. Kudos to Slot & Co.

So what is the line up? I assume all the experienced players will start.

----------------------- Kelleher

Bradley ------- Endo ---------Quansah ------ Robbo

------------------------ Morton

--- Elliott ----------------------------------- McConnell

Chiesa ----------------- Nunez ----------------- Gakpo

Kone-Doherty, Mabaya, Jaros, Nallo, Morrison, Danns, Norris, Davies, Nyoni.

Is it possible we get fined or reprimanded by UEFA for sending a weakened squad?

Just to put some more colour on things as far as the performance money is concerned:
Group stage €2.1m per win, €0.7m per draw, nothing for a defeat. There is then a re-share of any prize money not earned (in theory, with 18 winners per round, the total prize pot is €2.1 x 18 x 8 games = €302.4m). Every time there is a draw, the award is €1.4m, not €2.1m, so €0.7m goes back into the pot to re-share, pro-rata to the win / draw money. We'd likely get €2-3m from this exercise.
Top 8 get €2m league bonus plus €11m last 16 bonus.
If you've seen tables showing us and Barca getting these amounts and others not getting them, that's just because we've guaranteed top 8 and the other teams haven't. They all get the same if they finish top 8.
Positions 9-16 get €1m bonus plus €1m for reaching the knock-out phase. Positions 17-24 get nothing at this stage.
Winners of knock-outs get €11m each. So positions 9-16 could get the same in total as positions 1-8, but they have to play two extra games to get there.
Positions 17-24, if they reach last 16, get €11m, which is €2m less than teams from the top 16 which reach the group stages.
From there on, qualification for next round earns (each figure is incremental, not cumulative):
€12.5m for reaching quarters
€15m for reaching semis
€18.5m for reaching the final
€6.5m for winning the final.
So a winning run nets €52.5m.

So what is the line up? I assume all the experienced players will start.

------------------------ Morton

--- Elliott ----------------------------------- McConnell

Chiesa ----------------- Nunez ----------------- Gakpo

Kone-Doherty, Mabaya, Jaros, Nallo, Morrison, Danns, Norris, Davies, Nyoni.

Not a lot of pace in that midfield lol

I assume Gakpo is only there to return to his former club so I'm expecting a cameo. It should be Danns through the middle and Nunez left

Tsimikas should start as well after Robertson's 90min weekend and Nyoni could start over McConnell I guess

I don’t mind resting a few but he didn’t have to go full 180, seems proper weak in midfield.

So that’s just the pot for the comp, I assume doesn’t include TV money?

What positions are Kone and Morrison?
Think doherty plays left wing (but i think he can play both sides) . And morrison right wing. But Morrison scores a shit load more so i assume he plays higher and narrower.
