That was from MOTD analysis, on that freeze frame Matip foot has landed but Gordon’s was yet to land but as I said, on another angle it was other way around.
Either way, it wasn’t conclusive for me enough to give it plus Gordon is a diving twat so crying wolf didn’t help his case. Something for him to learn from… in the championship next season…

On that freeze frame Gordon's foot is planted

The blue is at the top of Gordon's boot, not the bottom.

And that's where I'm saying you're wrong. Matips is in the air.

I understand what you are saying but I don’t see what you are talking about. Spent more time looking at the diving twat’s feet then I care to just for the sake of it but all I can see is his foot higher up and a light coloured boots in the air even with the blue on top factored in. Guess it’s just me. Will run it through Adobe Photoshop later.

I dont think it matters to much really as from the footage Gordon is already on his way down before their feet tangle. Why? Because he’s a diving bitter looking for the foul.
The ref made the right call.

Just freeze frame this and you can clearly see it:

If that was Salah, we'd have said he earned the right to step in front by using his pace and was 'shielding the ball'. He doesn't have to allow Matip a clear path to the ball.

Get the tints off.

I said yesterday it was a 50/50. If it was given no chance VAR overturns it. At that time I hadn't seen Matip stand on Gordon's foot.

Sorry, for me you can't stand on feet regardless of accidental or not.

In isolation the ref got that wrong, it should have been given.

However, there was constant shithousery from Everton who got what they deserved in the end. Nothing.
Nah sorry, you can't just run full pelt alongside someone, then step inside and straight into the path under the feet of a player who's sprinting, whilst losing balance yourself and claim you were fouled. He wasn't fouled, he was trying to create contact and give the referee a decision to make, probably as instructed to by Frank before the match, and well the ref made a decision, the correct decision.

If Gordan is getting across Matip and he kicks out at him, or pulls him back or pushes him, then maybe your argument holds out, but none of those things happen, he literally just steps into Matips path, which doesn't change at all, to force contact. So, whilst its a tight decision that i wouldn't have been surprised was given, ultimately it correctly was not given.

Carragher was saying it was a stonewall penalty for the push in the back by Matip while Gordon claimed it was a penalty because his foot was stood on.
I wish they could agree what the actual foul was.
#JoelMatrip should be trending on twitter
I think Gordon was saying that his foot was stood on when he got booked for diving even though he admitted that you can't see it in any of the camera angles.

The push I did think it was a pen when I saw it first and probably the 1st reply as well but the more I see it the less I think it is. Poetic justice anyway for the bullshit carry on of these cunts at goodison last season

Even funnier is that if T-Rex arms had normal length arms he would have Saved origi's header but instead he's confirmed origi's stature in the history of Merseyside derbies

I think @nomad and @rubans had a conversation in the thread about the very incident and whether Matip stood on Gordon or not.
It was definitely that incident in the second half.

Also, that despicable twat Holgate was at it again trying to get Mane sent off. The only thing I'll remember him for is when he cried wolf about Bobby after shoving him into the stands.

And when Bobby was found innocent the little prick never publicly apologised that to me says enough of what kinda person he is. Hope he enjoys the championship

I was certain it was a pen in real time and

He pushed him AND he stood on his foot. It's a very clear penalty, which makes it all the better. Lolololo

What I heard was, when the ref saw him going down, he said to the var team 'I fucking hate Everton. I hate the ground, I hate the supporters, I hate the whole fucking team, but in particular I hate this little cunt. Looks like a half starved grey alien on chemo and he dives every time he gets near the fucking ball. So while I think this is probably a penalty can you lot up there please do us all a fucking favour and get these Lonsdale wearing tramps relegated please? None of us want to go to woodison again do we?' and the game continued.

and he added “let’s keep trying to find a way to deny City another trophy so that we can all laugh our balls off reading the Fume”.

Its great. I mean what's better than them being relegated?

Oh yeah... them being relegated and for the next 30 years citing a pen they never had as the reason why the Redshite robbed them of being the biggest team in the World.

I really hope they get relegated, the horrible anti-football, glorified Millwall cunts.

Looking at the fixtures and form of the two teams then Burnley are the clear favorites to stay up. They actually look much improved since Dyche was sacked.

There is some Karma in that - had he stayed injury free that season - then maybe his form would have continued to improve that season and we win the Europa Cup. But he was becoming the managers main striker that season - and that injury essentially wrecked his progress by at least setting him back 2 seasons, and long term maybe he would have been the main man we needed, because that injury knocked his confidence a bit in terms of being brave etc. I will be more than happy if Everton get relegated - the thuggery of those c*nts is just not halal.

Like specifically bestowed for the Millwall comment. _IF_ they somehow don’t go down this must be their name next season
