Either way. That Chamberlain goal has done us the world of good.

We can go into our game somewhat relaxed about GD, knowing a win should realistically take us there.

Lei need to go hell for leather minute 1 to 90, against a counter attacking side with CF motivated by the golden boot. Shame Maureen still isn't in charge there.

The moment Robertson "accidently" flattened their player. Looks to the ref, instantly realises he is in trouble, and starts acting like a mother, babying the lifeless corpse below him, stroking it's back, and the ref lets him off.

He is the perfect player. I think I will support Scotland in the Euros.
He's truthfully my favourite player. Love the guy to bits. He's such a throwback to the old school footy player. No nonsense. No fucking about. Happy to knack someone if needed. Eager as a 17yr old given a free pass to the Reeperbahn. Captain of the Scots. Properly loves the Reds. He ticks every single box. My favourite clip is when he stepped up and promised Mane he'll sort out the guy who had just snidely scythed him down. See below clip in case you've not seen it.

I still think Spurs will do them and Villa will scrap a point and we’ll end up 3rd just behind Utd after all the talk of the worst title defence ever.

Palace will be tough, no doubt. But watching them do the lap of honour, Woy saying his good byes and the players looking finished for the season. I’d be horrendously disapointed if we dont run more, tackle harder and playing with our hearts on our sleeves on Sunday.

Spurs looked finished aswell, so if that team from today shows up Leicester will win.
There is a very good chance Spurs will get hammered, so we need to go out guns blazing against Palace. I hate it when we come up against Zaha, causes us all sorts of shit. They have tricky players and will be a good test for our defenders.

We need to win, so playing it cautiously is the way. Palace have Zaha and that other kid, Eze. They could do us damage if we're not careful. Give me 1-0 dull win over 3-2 a nail biter

Eze is out until Christmas

Isn’t it head to head before goals for?

Edit: it’s not.

If any clubs finish with the same number of points, their position in the Premier League table is determined by goal difference, then the number of goals scored. If the teams still cannot be separated, they will be awarded the same position in the table.

That's out of date. The current rules are as follows

- Goal difference (if level then),
- Goals scored (if level then),
- Head to head points (if level then),
- Goal difference in the head to head (if level then)
- Away goals scored in the head to head

We beat Leicester 3-0 at Anfield and lost 3-1 at the king power.

Therefore we edge the head to head.

He’s the tanned Lucas. One fucking goal?? Our keeper and 5th choice centre back have the same output.

Nah. Those posters have just gone radio silent 😉

Does a midfield of him - Fabinho - Hendo work if that means we have to rely on goals from Mane/Salah/Firmino to win the league?
Yah, not sure it's going to work ...

His quality was never in question.

Love Robbo though he hasn't been at his very best for a while.
Still gives his absolute all though. Future captain maybe.
Speaking of captains, that clip demonstrates what a fucking brilliant one Hendo is.
Nobody, even the best player in the world, gets to try and intimidate his teammate.

Yup, great point re: Hendo.
We've missed his presence on the pitch.
One of the best Liverpool captains ever.

I thought it is getting very apparent now that Gini is just going through the motions. It's like his body reacts but his mind just isn't there anymore. The body language is telling and in some parts he was just strolling about.

I think a part of him wants to stay, but we just can't pay him what he wants. With the situation developing at Barca, his future is up in the air. Not a good situation to be at his age.

We aren't going to have a fixed three 😉

Depending on who we're playing there's little doubt Fabs + Thiago + Hendo are the top three. Hendo now released to play in his best position on the right supporting and swapping positions with TAA. He scored 4 goals last season and 4 times has scored 4-6 goals in a season, nice little addition.

I can see Bissouma in our team too.

He kinda showed it when Allison scored ... he acted like he was at a funeral

I noted his reaction to Phillips critical goal ... no shout, no congratulations, zero positive body language, just walked off.

Robbo is a maniac I love. I just hope he doesnt get red carded in important game in the future.

Yup, which is why I wanted CuJo starting yesterday.
It's a liability - even if he's trying, he's clearly mentally checked out.
Look at his celebration against west brom - the whole team is going insane and he walks over begrudgingly ...

How fucking good is Thiago??

He's hands down the best footballer at this club.

Absolute baller.

Build the midfield around him and Fabs
He’s always been that just some fans were looking for a scape goat.
He’s on another level I haven’t seen since Xabi.

In the debate about our most important player, quality wise Allisson, Virgil and Mo are in the mix but because of his presence, which cannot be underestimated, he is right up there.
Southgate was an idiot to choose Kane ahead of him as England captain

Oof Hendo / thiago / fabs trio in midfield with a fit again VVD and were defo 15pts better off next season

Bit harsh.. we should look back fondly at his time here. Premier league + Champions league.

Would I be happy if he was a sub versus palace? Yes.. but not 'do one'. He deserves a warm send off.
A warm-sendoff is the least we should do. Gini was a key a player in our league and CL winning teams.
He should forever be remembered for his contributions to LFC.

Gini deserves a warm send off, and I thought he played well yesterday even with the subdued celebrations.
We have to get the balance right against Palace, and need to protect our back four from their quick counters. I think Klopp will go with the same midfield as yesterday, and with the more attacking minded Jones as a sub to come on.
