Positives this season?

Pepe Reina.

Masher seems to be more settled.

Johnson is another attacking outlet even if at times his defensive duties suffers. We can work on that.

I've got one. It's not long before it ends.

Ha was about to type that.

I like Maxi too. He needs movement around him for his own game to emerge. He does a lot of effective neat and tidy work but it is often in midfield and not in advanced positions. An excellent squad addition and finally a decent freebie.

Reina has been superb
Magic has been promising (although still defensively suspect at times)
Torres is a world-class player
Agger has been OK, and Skittles improved before being injured.
Masher has been excellent since Xmas and looks more like he wants to stay.
Benitez will leave this summer.
Maxi has shown some signs of being a decent freebie.

That's about it, really.

Everyone else has been very erratic (Gerrard, Kuyt, Carra) or just shit (Insua, Lucas, Casper, Eggnog, Aquilani)

We're not in administration

technically if we were we could be sold to someone on the cheap who would in all likelihood invest more money than the yanks. maybe.

Steel prices went down during the financial crisis, which led to the new stadium being cheaper than estimated. However this was cancelled out by noone wanted to finance our new stadium due to the financial crisis.

I like Maxi, that and what the others said is about it

Fully agree, Maxi for me...and footballer with brain and vision.

Ryan being proved wrong at almost every turn.

Completely laughable at times.

Team positives Torres, GJ, Yossi Reina Masher and Agger.

There's nothing positive that's been confirmed to be this season.

Maxi's settled in quite nicely I guess and he's a smart footballer, but lacks the pace and goal-threat we really need. Ultimately he's another freebee stop-gap, so I'm not doing cartwheels about it.

Let's just hope Benitez walks, because I think he's lost the respect of the players and once that happens, there's only one outcome.

If Masher signs a new contract then that will be a massive positive.

THis, along with Reina's.

There's a few but i'm already looking to next season.

We're going to have to prove many cunts wrong, we've been a laughing stock but next season, yeah next fucking season we'll be back and them cunts won't be laughing then.

What goes around, comes around.

Maxi on a free was a decent bit of business, so that's a plus.

Hopefully Reina and Masher will both commit to the club, so we can count that as well.

Otherwise, nothing.
