PL Opposition Tidbits

Onana ffs, it's plain to anyone with eyes the guy cannot save the date, let alone a shot on target.
"But he can't be pressed" Ffs modern fans

We continue being a laughing stock. It's like we're just doing our best to be total clowns of the footballing world.

50 million for a goalkeeper that lacks the basics. Thanks Ten Hag.

Now it starts.A demolition job is starting. 5-0 minimum

And there's a guy on here .. putting out stats on DDG on how we needed rid of him .. Onana is fecking brilliant.... 12 goals now in 6 matches must be a record.. fecking shite.. and started so well on top confident then you get a fecking useless twat who couldn't stop a fecking bubble of air..... put the lot at ease this guy does... useless keeper ...

United pull one back via Hoejland. However, straight away they concede a pen. Wonder who’ll be the taker?

3-1

Bayern aren't very good right now. I was hoping they would batter them 5 or 6 nil, but they don't look like they have a cohesive style of play yet under Tuchel.

If United had anything about them, they would have got something from this game.

Great goal! 4-2. Game over. Phew.

For half a second, I was worried that United were going to have a season-turning result here.

Utd are awful. They’ve been so obsessed that their new goalkeeper is fantastic with the ball at his feet that they seemingly missed that he cant use his arms.

Bayern arent very good either bar some individual brilliance from Musiala, Kane and Sane.
Would love Alphonso Davies here when Robbo retires. What a player.
Has to be said that Tuchel just isnt a very good manager.

The most awesome thing I read on Red Cafe was that their form will improve when Mainoo recovers from injury. At first I thought it was a really bad typo for Mount (which would be funny) but when it was repeated many times I realised they meant it and had to google him.

Pinning their hopes on Amrabat, Mainoo and Bruno midfield.

By the way, Newcastle were fucking horrible yesterday. All the coverage were about how it was a good point. Milan were shit, and idiotic finishers, and Newcastle got lucky, nothing more. They were unable to put three passes together.

For the good of the competition, we should take their place.

Milan have cursed themselves with their treatment of Lord Divock.

And for the sake of football. Howe was interviewed as he walked onto the iconic San Siro for the first time. As the interviewer asked how it felt his response was, "a pitch is a pitch".

Cant believe how bad we were last season that Utd AND Newcastle are in the CL instead of us.

Utd’s next 5 league games are Burnley (A), Palace (H), Brentford (H), Sheffield Utd (A) , then City (H) home.

During that period they’ve got home games against Palace in the League Cup and Galatassaray & Copenhagen in the CL.

5 homes games & 2 away games against promoted teams who have a point each so far.

They should be winning every game up to the City one - with Brentford likely being the hardest - and that’s a pretty easy run to try and get some form together.

If they lose their next couple of games - and Utd haven’t lost 2 consecutive home league games for 30 years - so I don’t fancy Palace to beat them - Ten Hag must be on the brink.

We need them to scrape through those games so that he stays as their manager.
Dont think they'll beat Palace actually, maybe a draw.

Is that the Newcastle that almost destroyed us in the first half a few weeks ago?

Well to be fair, what else did you expect him to say? That the San Siro is a slum so lacking in identity it's used by two ostensible arch-rivals? Or that he has wet dreams about the Milan Ultras?

That its an iconic football stadium and that they look forward to playing there. Doesnt say anything and is respectful. Its not difficult.

Ah this again

No - lose everything, sack Ten Hag, appoint some other great hope & fail again. There is so much more joy in that than trying to balance hopes between them being shit but winning enough to keep the latest no hoper in a job.

There was even a prominent poster on here a few years ago hoping Utd win the League Cup to keep Moyes/Van Gaal/Maureen/Ole (cant remember which one) in a job.

Madness, madness I tell ye
