Thanks to the relatively tiny dataset it's possible to interpret the data & any future modelling in a massive amount of ways.
Add in geographical differences, number of beds available etc, & you have loads more.
Then add in the fact some medical experts think a herd immunity will happen as it most often does with viruses, & many disagree because there's proven cases of sever reinfection, & you have this this situation we now find ourselves in.

Herd immunity is a ridiculous approach.. they tried that approach with the Spanish flu.. look what happened..
Herd immunity only works if some form of vaccination is in place and minimal risk of reinfection

I was talking to a ex colleague who is a Liverpool Season ticket holder, we where actually talking about the Athletico game. It all jokey jokey as you would expect, but turned serious, him and his colleagues are of the opinion the government is not going far enough in terms of trying to slow down the spread of virus
He went very deep in how the spreading of the virus works, risks of reinfection, and how a virus evolves, peak etc, very interesting but well over my head.. In a nut shell social distancing is the only solution.. its been effective in China and argues it will show effectivness eventually in Italy
The company he works for are currently researching vaccine, so I'd expect he would know a thing or two..
