Lovren again, half a sec too slow in reaction. VD will be an improvement on him.

Firmino struggling as well. Origi and Lallana fairly anonymous.
 
Karius with an odd rugby conversion kick under no pressure.

Fair to say he won't be starting our first game.
 
So this half (great half to watch) has really confirmed what we already know, superb going forward, dodgy defending (especially from the full backs), hopefully Robertson makes a difference, and hopefully VVD does come and he also makes a difference.
 
In this market, Barcelona's offer of 72 million is really a derisory offer. If we ever do contemplate selling him, I hope the price is fixed at something like 120 million.
 
Lallana, Origi and Wijnaldum are still off the pace, the former the worse. Poor body shape when receiving the ball or tackling. I think Alexander-Arnold, despite being exposed to two or three attackers is doing well.

Coutinho and Salah standing out so far.

Higher, Barca have made this easy for us with selling Neymar, Coutinho isn't far off his level, £150million is a starting price for me.

Big merry go round isn't it. Even if we get £150m we will get taken to the cleaners by whoever's player we try to sign next.

That was decent covering from Moreno, stopped Vardy shooting first time, allowing Klavan to tackle back well.
 
Solanke has all the attributes to be a good player, but his decision making and first touch looks questionable. He needs to play and a loan move wouldn't be the worst decision.
