Meh. There's hardly a queue of big clubs beating a path to his door.

Big clubs as in rich clubs or clubs with big talents?
There is obviously not a stereotype manager who will fit all clubs whatsoever. I.e. Roy and Fat Sam are small club managers. Good at getting mediocre teams play a few good games a season. Others are good at having a talented squad play well. I believe Pellegrino is a man for that. I think our profile would match his profile well. He has his integrity, he is well balanced, he has the experience and stomach to deal with huge stars (I know they didnt win La Liga, but they scored a hell of a lot of goals and beat the club record for points while he played the presidents outcats instead of his hyped buys). In a tough market the old Chilean would be a good match for a "BIG" club like ours.

First of all, I presume you mean Pellegrini, not the clapped-out Argie who went to Inter with Rafa. 😉
Secondly, I agree with your summary of different types of manager but that's one big reason why I'm dubious about the fit between LFC and Pellegrini being the right one. In a nutshell, show me what he's won. There are aspects of Roy's CV (calm approach, international experience) which suggested he might be an OK appointment too, and look how THAT's turned out.
