Πρόταση ύψου 14 εκατ. ευρώ για την απόκτησή του 21χρονου στόπερ, Κυριάκου Παπαδόπουλου από τη Σάλκε φέρεται να κατέθεσε το μεσημέρι της Κυριακής (28/7) η Λίβερπουλ.
Η ομάδα του μεγάλου λιμανιού μετά την αποχώρηση του Κάραγχερ έχει μείνει με τρεις στόπερ. Και παρότι πρόσφατα ο τεχνικός της, Μπρένταν Ρότζερς δήλωσε πως η ομάδα του δεν θέλει άλλον σέντερ μπακ μετά την άφιξη του Κόλο Τουρέ και την παρουσία των Αγκερ και Σκρτελ, θεωρείται βέβαιο στην Αγγλία πως θα υπάρξει κίνηση για παίκτη στην άμυνα. «Νομίζω ότι είμαστε καλά με τους υπάρχοντες αμυντικούς, ο Κόλο Τουρέ έχειμ μεγάλη εμπειρία και τεράστια ποιότητα, θα μας βοηθήσει», είχε δηλώσει πρόσφατα στη «Liverpool Echo» ο Ρότζερς, αλλά απ' ό,τι φαίνεται αυτό θα αλλάξει.
