It is kinda true though. Although we look like we won't make a loss on him, it's pretty much cos the value of players has skyrocketed.
Although as every fucker knew this tv deal was done & how much for in advance, why we or any other club didnt make a few stupidly expensive purchases of world class players in advance is beyond me. Even if you switched manager & had to sell some of them you'd guarantee a profit or break even cos the values have gone up.

You might be right, old pal, but I'd be willing to bet against that. Benteke is inconsistent even when he gets the service, as he showed at Villa, besides which those guys are mostly wide attackers rather than wingers as such, i.e.players who spend much of their time going for goal in their own right rather than crossing the ball.

This is a report just in I'm afraid doesn't look like it's going to happen.
Yeah. Goals per game (and especially goals per start) are incredibly misleading and I can never understand why mins per goal is not used more often.

Sturridge, Origi and Ings all left Benteke for dead. Even Mane's record at Southampton (as a winger) is better.
