Have a Spanish friend who lives in Brisbane... he's Barca fan, knows some fans who are heavily involved with the club.
Told me earlier this week Barca were in negotiations - which makes yesterday's Guardian "Ozil to United" story all the more funnier :laugh:
He just texted me a few hours ago to say its pretty much a done deal.
It's really down to whether Man City go after Balotelli or not.
If they do, then Mascherano to Inter is a done deal.
But if City opt for Iba ($ + Robinho to Barca) ... then quite possibly Mascherano to Barca might eventuate.
I personally think Barca need Mascherano more than they need Cesc.
His contract s running out, so I assume they will be happy to cash in 8 mill on him.
