Shut up RossclartI'd be willing to bet the wages figure rumoured is his normal wages and image rights bring it up into the same territory as other offers.

REVEALED: How Arsenal have to pay Southampton £10,000 each time The Ox plays 20 minutes
[article]Wenger’s detailed knowledge of every player’s contract even created an issue when Oxlade-Chamberlain was making substitute appearances for Arsenal last season.
Written into the England winger’s deal is a clause stating that Arsenal must pay Saints £10,000 every time Oxlade-Chamberlain appears for more than 20 minutes.
Incredibly a trend emerged, with Wenger bringing him off the bench after 72 minutes (v Stoke), 73 minutes (Liverpool), 72 minutes (Coventry), 65 minutes (Norwich), 76 minutes (Fulham), 86 minutes (Tottenham), 67 minutes (Swansea), 73 minutes (West Ham), 71 minutes (Swansea), and 75 minutes (Reading).
Arsenal’s accounts department were stunned to receive an email from Southampton demanding payment for the appearances, with the south coast club justifying their argument based on stoppage time.
Eventually Arsenal agreed to pay for the appearances and the story worked its way around the offices at the Emirates with bafflement among staff.[/article]
Arsenal revealed to be paying Southampton £10,000 every time Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain plays 20 minutes or more
[article]Take a look at his appearances last season – he featured predominantly from the bench despite supporters calls for him to feature in the starting line-up – and a trend is seen to develop.
Having made 33 appearances for the Gunners last season, Oxlade-Chamberlain was on the pitch for 20 minutes or less 13 times, with the majority seeing him introduced around the 71st minute. It appears that the clause was certainly in Wenger’s mind during games and having an impact on when to play the midfielder – giving him less than 20 minutes in a 90 minute game is hardly allowing the 20-year-old to have a major impact.
But Wenger, ever keen to remain financially aware of everything that happens at his club, had not accounted for stoppage time, something which Saints had picked up on. When they demanded that Arsenal pay for these appearances, the Gunners had no option but to cough up, meaning that the north Londoners will have paid over £200,000 in additional payments to the south coast side for last season alone.[/article]
Not entirely to be blamed for his lack of progress then I guess?
Look, I'm happy with this transfer and everything, but if Arse take our money and buy Mahrez with it I'm gonna wanna give Klopp a dead leg in the balls.
Mahrez is rumoured to be on his way to Barca.
I'm really happy with this.
And not in a "he's just signed so I'll clutch at any positive fucking straw I can" kind. I've long been a fan of him, and if you don't believe me and/or can be arsed you can see for yourself here:

Firstly, a player's goal record is entirely influenced by the team they play in and the way they play.
How many times had Torres scored 20+ goals a season for Atletico before he joined us? None. Was Suarez a goal machine at Ajax? No. Was Mane plundering goals at Southampton? No. And Salah contributed two bits of fuck all attacking threat at Chelsea, before going to a side that suited him in Roma.
The way we play will create opportunities for him to score. He'll score goals for us.
Secondly, outside of one or two individuals - no one at Arsenal out of their 486 attacking mids scores a lot of goals. They've got Sanchez, and to a lesser extent Giroud. Ozil scores fuck all, Walcott doesn't get enough, Ramsey, Xhaka, Wellbeck. None of them score the goals that players of their repute should. Same goes for AOC.
And lastly, he's a very good footballer. Watch him retain possession with ease, make clever runs, create space in pockets, drift to the touchline if needed work extremely hard (I'm convinced Klopp see's him fitting easily into the high-energy pressing game), and provide an alternative to what we've got. He's quick, but not in a sprint-past-last-man-like-Salah way. He uses his pace differently, and he can play in a variety of positions.
If you're competing on multiple fronts then you need guys like this. 24 years of age - 5 years of playing for a top 4 side and for his country, and able to impact immediately.
This is a very good signing.
I thought we retired #21 after Lucas
If you have to go back 20 years to prove a point is it really proven?Didn't realise Suarez's record was that good, apologies.
I'll swop him out then and replace him with the Aston Villa Dwight Yorke before he went to Utd and scored 20 a season.
Lemar isn't required if we keep Coutinho. In fact, that'd leave us with a glut of AMs. Coutinho, Lemar, Lallana and Oxlade - that's probably too many.
How long are we realistically going to keep Coutinho, though? He's gone next summer. Get Lemar in now and get shot of Coutinho. A little short term pain for a long term gain.
Someone that good playing in front of our back four would instantly improve our defensive play IMO, even if we don't fetch a CB in during this window. Don't think Klopp sees it that way though.
What do I win?21 so he can be our new Lucas
His only major concern is his injury record which awful
It's a bit unfair to single out his injury record
His consistency, goal and assists record are all also awful
