Some random thoughts:

There are not enough obscene words in the English language to describe Michael Cunt.
I hope he gets verbally abused wherever he goes, for the rest of his playing days.
I hope he makes an England comeback and then breaks his foot a week before leaving for the World Cup.
I wouldn't wish injury on him Tal.
Actually, that's an interesting point, wishing injury on the players of your main rivals. I think most people here would love it if the Scum had their major players out injured all season and it ruined their title challenge. If you doubt that, look at it this way; if Ferdinand got injured and it was going to be a 3 month layoff everyone on hear would be cheering. And the volume would go up if Rooney was added to the list .. etc etc.

Therefore, without expressing it directly, we do all hope the players of our main challengers get injured for months.

Therefore, wishing injury on Cunt is a 'natural' reaction.
If a United player gets injured, serious or not, and it benefits Liverpool, well then, yeah, I'll take it.
But wishing injury on any player, or any other person is pretty shit. Bad karma and all that Tal.
Yeh, I suppose...

If he doesn't get injured all season (like that's going to happen) I'd not be too worried. He's not the player he was by a long shot- and if he's spearheading their attack next year we've one less title contender to worry about.
But he won't be. Rooney will be if they don't manage a big name signing.

Rooney is not a CF, so that's just fine.

Re: Cunt

Even if Utd have done shopping, they'll still be the team to beat. As someone ends up saying every summer - it's folly to write them off, no matter what is happening.

As for Owen, I hope he gets injured first game of the season... same goes for all their players.

Well neither was Ronaldo.

And Rooney manages goal scoring well enough for England so I'd be more concerned with him up front than Owen.

Re: Cunt

fucking bonkers seeing that picture. I remember back in the day that big fat cunt 'Dunk' over on Koptalk did an April fools joke that said that Owen had gone to the scummers! I almost coughed up my pelvic bone when I read that 😱 It just looks weird! Seems hard to call him a cunt after 2001 but............... He is what he is...... A CUNT!

Re: Cunt

I'm always amazed who they find when the TV crews 'find' Liverpool fans near the ground to discuss this kind of thing. Sorry to do a Brendan, but: Is it always spazzo day? Jesus fecking christ!

Good point. I wonder what Rooney makes of all this.
I'm hoping he gets pissed off having to do the legwork for another glory hunter.
I'm hoping it causes problems with his friendship with Gerrard and messes with his head somehow.
I'm hoping he comes to hate Owen who could, if things go well, steal his thunder in the England team if he (Owen) makes a return and starts getting close to the all-time goal-scoring record.

Yeh, yeh, I know these are all hopelessly unlikely, but anything, I mean ANYTHING that comes along and fucks the whole thing up will be fantastic.

Re: Cunt

I think it'll be Rooney + Another up front next season. Owen, unless he plays a blinder, will be in the rotation mix as a squaddie.

Calm down fella. When you put aside the emotion, you'll realise that "Agent O-wen" is a bit shit these days.. he was always a player that needed 89minutes of nothing to score a goal.. now he'll only get 20-30minutes here and there (hopefully taking vital time from that Macheda cunt who stole the title from us last season).. also he scores in fits and starts.. 2 hattrick and then 10games without a goal.. his record would look impressive (12games, 6gls) but he'll have only contributed to the result of 2 of the games (this is no hard or fast rule, just a general statement that he was a "streaky" striker in his prime; quite a few goals in 2s and 3s). There's no denying he scored on the big occasions, but then, that we when he had pace to worry defenders. He's legs are shot nowadays and his finishing isn't as clinical.

I really think (or hope) we'll look back on this day next year and laugh when we say THIS was the day (and others, obv) that United began their fall.

Re: Cunt

Before we write him off, as Mark said - he is bound to stay fit all season and will undoubtedly re-find his form. It the law.

I'm fully calm thanks. All you say about Owen and his striking style was before he landed himself a role up front for the best team in England, with the best ever (arguably) manager, who must have worked out how he'll play him. Owen is certainly not the same type of striker he was, but the fear is he'll be something Fergie can use to brilliant effect.

I'm totally with you over the last sentence.

Re: Cunt

21 pages dedicated to Owen in about 2 days. He really has done it now, I hope the club take him out of any current advertising. He is on the giant montage in the clubshop window, behind the statue of Shanks.

First of all, I apologise if I sounded condescending with the whole "calm down" thing.

Secondly, Fergie's a great manager but he isn't a miracle worker nor a doctor.. Cunt's legs are shot.. I don't believe in sod's law or anything like that. I believe more in Science. Science says that gravity pulls everything down to Earth. Science says that the Earth orbits The Lying Rag. Science also says once a man's legs and knees have been knackered he's pretty much done for life.. Cunt won't gain an extra yard of pace in a United shirt.. and he won't suddenly become Action man (injury free) or Cunt circa 1998.. right now, at his very best or fittest he's about as useful as Peter Crouch.. he'll "do a job" but regardless of his goal count, he'll be far from world class and the sort of player who almost forces you to play a certain way to accommodate him (intentional or not).

United and Fergie have taken a gamble, and a desperate one by the looks of it.
The thing with Cunt is the media circus that comes with him will far outweigh any positive contribution. Behind his apparent "clean cut straight edge" facade lies a very cunning, calculating man whose sole aim is to do what's best for him, and him alone. The whole "Cunt Show" and media circus will put Fergie under big pressure to start the guy (especially in the lead-up to the World cup).. then whenever he's on the bench, you'll have the Sky cameras panning in on him to look for any wince or grimace.. when he's warming up, the commentators (Gray and Tyler) will be talking about how much of a great player he is, and how he should be starting games more regularly.. and when he produces fcuk-all, you'll have those same pundits clamouring about how he needs more games or game time.

I really think Fergie has shot himself in the foot here. It's one thing bringing in a Larsson, or even Sheringham.. but Cunt!? a player whose main attribute was pace, until it went, then clinical finishing, until that went.. and then when you factor in the whole Pro-Cunt led media circus, you start to see why WE and RAFA don't need attention like that taking away from our performances on the pitch.

Where is the risk? He is only going to cost them £4m over 2 years. You can't get a backup up defender for that type of money there days.
But if they sign other big name players and have Owen as a dirt cheap backup striker who might just stay fit and regain his form. The cunt has only just turned 29 . At £4m it could be steal.

I was ok actually very smug about this Owen joining them but after thinking about it over a few beers I'm not so sure.
Could he thrive playing ahead of Rooney and Berbatov?

Re: Cunt

Id be interested to see what the scummers thought of this aquisition. I tried having a sneaky peak on that cess pool 'red cafe' but its seems to have shut down or something. Maybe the site has been flooded by anti cunt vitriol (although on reflection on that basis its a wonder it exists at all ) 8)
