Looks like we finally got one then, and he can play football as well, shame he's gonna cost £32m

Anyone think our defenders might end up vastly improving against big tall strikers when Benteke is up against them in training? It might work out quite well

I dunno mate, I didn't see an improvement when crouchy or carroll was here. I see your thinking though, they're not going to get a tougher ariel game in the league than they are in training every week.

Crouch isn't great in the air though and we didn't concede that many under Kenny did we?

Our problem with big physical strikers like Benteke is numpties like Skrtel and Lovren choose to engage him and try to out battle/strength him (and fail consistently). Whereas experienced, clever defenders like Metresacker and Koelcielny (in the FA cup final anyway) simply dropped off him and were more concerned with dealing with 2nd balls.
