We're trying to get him match fit in case he's needed as emergency for Brighton when the inevitable happens to Fab and Hendo on Intl. duty.
Always dreamt of a midfield duo of Thiago & Spearing, think they'd compliment each other well.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. The idea of Spearing playing for the u21 as a 33 year old man while also coaching them seems too weird to comprehend. It also suggests our u21 squad is gash. The over age player loophole exists for players working on fitness or rehabbing from injury, you know actual players, not so your coach can sub himself on and relive his youth.
