Of all the people to break the Jinxy rules!!!!!

Yellow card issued - one more like that and we will be bathing in your sacrificial blood.
Did I say anything about Brighton's opposition?
I was actually referring to their upcoming game against Southampton if you must know.
Not that I recognise your trumped up authority.

It's kinda sickening that it's out of our hands. This team deserves a couple more league titles.

I just don't see City dropping points in the run in.
I can't help but think that Guardiola is making a mistake when he insists that if City drop points Liverpool will win the title.
It is obvious that Liverpool are more likely to drop points in the run in and he is putting huge pressure on his players.
If they should drop points it will be difficult to change the narrative to encourage them to just continue to win their next game as Jurgen has us doing.
I appreciate that this could be all for public consumption and the private conversations could be different but it would be very easy for the players to receive mixed messages.
It does have the feel of the 18/19 again but remember that it took a once in a career wonder goal from Kompany, to get them over the line that time.
Will it be a case of lightening having to strike twice.
I haven't lost all hope just yet.

People forget too that in 18/19 while Man City were fully focussed on the Premier title having being dumped out of the Champions League quarter finals, Liverpool were competing on two fronts.
The Champions League is their Holy Grail and will provide a distraction for them at the very least this time

The big two games where city will potentially drop points,. Wolves and Villa..

All the others 3 points..

It sickening, that this team is not winning the titles it so richly deserves.. However I argue, if it wasn't for city, this Liverpool team would not be as good as it is now.. So we have something to be thankful for .

This is by far the greatest Liverpool side in history .

We are winning at least another 2 trophies.

So Treble.. can't really complain.. imho..

What’s the jinx situation for the game that may or may not be on tonight?

The season’s over, there are no more games except for ones we’re involved in that shall be spoken of once Brizzle starts the thread.

In fact - you should be watching the Scottish league only!!!

Ake and stones went off injured. If de Bruyne misses a game then they’re fucked. He won them that game. I still cannot believe someone didn’t just smash through him for the first.
Injuries could play a huge role in the last month of this season.
If a couple of our key players picked up an injury we would be stuffed.
Maybe not in the very next game but rotation would likely lessen and eventually performances would drop off.
Man City are very much in a similar position.

We should be thankful to City? Fuck that.

City can drop points in any of the games left bar Watford imho.
But most likely they’ll find a way to win all of their games.

Finishing 2nd a point behind them will hurt badly.

I am not one for pinning my hopes on City dropping points, but we need to keep winning. If City were to drop points then It will be in their pen-ultimate game against West Ham. Lets just win all our games from now and see were we are at the end of the season

No I didn''t say should be thankful to city, not in that manner, you are implying..

It because of City changing the goalposts we are as good as we are under Klopp..

We may be winning titles if there was no city, granted. But the bar would not be set as high in terms of results and football standards..

You are seeing the greatest football side we have seen in Liverpool, in parts because of City...

You're in for a massive, massive disappointment

It will definitely be a disappointment not to win the league or any other trophies this year but it's still been an incredible ride.

Thrilled to be back in the hunt and have every game meaningful.

City won't drop any points. They'll beat us in the CL final. Chelsea will get revenge in the FA cup. Everton will stay up and get their shit together and overtake us as the best side in the city

Apart from the last point regarding Everton, I have that same fear about the previous points regarding City, and Chelsea out for revenge. If we meet City again they will be well up for it in the CL final, and Chelsea will be up for it in the FA Cup final like their life depends on winning. I worry we won't be ready for them and get a smacked hard.

On City not dropping any points - honestly I have to agree, and part of me wants to lose a bloody game so I don't feel bad like last time when we lost the league by one point - if we lose by four we can say to ourselves "Oh well -we were just not good enough". You look at City's upcoming games, and not one of those teams is capable of even a draw with City - I had hopes in West Ham game but because they are dreaming of European glory and have no defenders left - I can't seem doing anything other then getting smacked. How the fuck did they get such an easy end of season fixture when we got a derby game and also the likes of Spurs who could pull a surprise against us. I expect the Watford to just crumble physically to a man on the pitch in their next game against City, we really can't hope for anything from these other teams - zero, zilch. We are walking alone this time when it comes to the league title.
