I've always understood the traders and odds compilers start it off and its adjusted dependent on the amount of money being placed - which is the main reason odds lengthen and shorten as the event approaches - it's about risk - they will of course cover some of this risk by laying off bets
Yes most of that is correct and they use any excuse to shorten a price but they wouldn't overprice other teams just because United and Spurs are English.

Because the way they played against us was nothing like the way they played against City. They were terrible after conceding the 2nd goal. Really bad like. Absolutely. Tony Coleman on the other wing got less publicity but if anything was even worse. I actually saw him headbutt one fullback as he ran past him.
