Based solely on today it seems reports of his demise have been greatly exaggerated.

On the other hand Ozil has been shite

Yep. Özil seems to have lost his hunger, but it could be a fitness issue as well. Looked tired.

Maybe my memory is bad but I always remember him being a 60-70 minute player, particularly at Madrid where he never finished a game.

I don't like him but he probably needs to be surrounded by good players and movement to get the best out of him.

Dunno about that but yeah Özil can't carry this Arsenal team. I think he started looking more shite when Sanchez left.
 
Like I said last weekend that Sideshow Bob guy Arsenal have in midfield can look clumsy but he's got a lot of talent. He's playing some great passes and showing some vision as well.

Looks like other teams are play g well and upping their game. We have no choice but win all the games in front of us again again and again if possible and not drop silly points.

Arsenal kept running into the hole between Chelsea's last line of defense and the midfield, clearly on instruction. The cutbacks were all targeting this area and Chelsea had no answers until halftime came. Arsenal should have scored 5.

It is surprising because Chelsea have Kante, albeit a more attacking Kante. Chelsea seems very vulnerable in midfield when they don't have the ball. Jorginho/Barkley are pretty useless defensively.
 
Chelsea with 6 goals from their 2 opening games. That is a bit surprising. Not sure if it is coincidental and of course to early to say anything of Sarri effect. But quite impressive given that Hazard and Giroud was late back after world cup.
