Only game I managed to watch yesterday was the Chelsea Arsenal match, & I thought they were both quite poor. I'd have loved to have played either of them yesterday cos we'd have fucking torn them apart.

Defensively they were both like a mad woman's piss. Kante was playing so far forwards at times that he offered no support to the defence at all, which was utterly bizarre.
 
City have started well and could have had a couple in the first five minutes, but why is Pep dropping Sterling and Sane? I hope this is the start of him trying to prove he's clever.
 
1-0 to City, but Guardiola's experimenting with a new formation. Huddersfield keeper messed up with that first goal.

Pissed off with myself cos almost included a -3 handicap bet on them in my acca to bump the price way up but shit out.
 
That pass from Ederson for the second goal was immense.

That ability is one of the things we bought Allison for. I can't wait til he sets a goal up with a 70 yard pass like that, it's a helluva effective way to counter quickly enough to bypass any worries about a low block from a side.

Huddersfield were a shower. I watched the first 8-9mins while flicking between the cricket. Hate to say this (and this is stating the bleeding obvious) but they could have been 4 up after the first 10mins and apart from the redmen no-one is going to come close to them. They simply were mustard. I fancy us against them though. I'm not saying that to be funny but let's go toe to toe and see how it plays out. At the very least it will be a fucking cracking game and not the shitty snooze fest that will be served up when Jose parks 2 buses. I say - Bring 'em on! 🙂
 
Last season we played against the top teams very well. Hopefully it will be the same this year but without the silly dropping of points against the lower teams
